This article teaches how to Pre-Book RT-PCR Tests at Chennai International airport in Chennai. As per the latest govt guidelines in India from 20 December 2021, it is mandatory for all international passengers arriving in 6 metro cities from "at-risk countries" to pre-book their Covid-19 test. The 6 metropolitan cities are Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
1. Open Chennai International Airport Website
Navigate to https://www.aai.aero/en/airports/chennai
2. Hover over the PASSENGER INFO button
Hover your mouse over the button “PASSENGER INFO”
3. Click on the COVID TESTING FACILITY
Click on the button labelled “COVID TESTING FACILITY”
4. Click on the Booking Link
Click on the “Link to pre-book tests online”
5. Fill the REGISTRATION FOR COVID-19 TEST Form
1. Enter your Personal Details
2. Enter your Flight Details
3. Enter your Vaccination Details
4. Select the Test Name from the list
5. Select your Payment Mode
6. Click on the button labelled “Submit”
7. You will be redirected to the payment page where you can use any payment method
8. Once you are done with the payment you will receive a confirmation message to your email Id and mobile number
9. Passengers have the option to reschedule their appointment or cancel the booking
